Dear Colleagues,
The intensification and protracted nature of armed conflicts, pandemics, environmental disasters, and the impact of climate change, have seriously aggravated large-scale migration of people and families in search of safety and economic prospects, leading to a global migration crisis we are facing today. Affected populations, and especially the most vulnerable, remain continuously exposed to various risks, including violence, neglect, sexual exploitation, which seriously affect mental health and psychosocial well-being of people on the move.
IOM Central Evaluation intends to hire external consultant(s) or a consulting firm to assess IOM’s comprehensive (strategic, institutional, and operational) approach to mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), to provide recommendations and lessons learned on how to further streamline, raise awareness on and advocate for psychosocial and mental health for all migrants in need of support. More details can be found in the attached Request for Proposals (RFP)
